According to the latest data released by the General Administration of Customs of China, China’s total Vape exports in 2023 were US$11.084 billion (approximately 79.5 billion yuan), an increase of 12.50% compared to 2022. Among them, China’s Vape exports to the United States were US$3.101 billion, accounting for 27.98%. The United States is still China’s largest Vape export market, followed by the United Kingdom and Germany.

In 2023, China will continue to maintain its advantage as the world’s largest vape manufacturer and exporter, with total exports of vape products reaching US$11.084 billion, compared with US$9.854 billion in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 12.50%.
FDA Issues Ban on Vape Company Bidi Vapor
On January 22, 2024, the US FDA issued a Marketing Denial Order (MDO) to Vape manufacturer Bidi Vapor for its Bidi Stick – ClassicVape, a closed tobacco-flavored disposable Vape.
The FDA requires Bidi Vapor not to market or distribute this product in the United States or face FDA enforcement action. In addition to ensuring that manufacturers comply with the order, the FDA also intends to ensure that distributors and retailers comply with the order. Bidi Vapor may submit a new application to the FDA for review.
